Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc will consider adoptive families from any city and state within the U.S., with the understanding that the Adopter is responsible for picking up the dog where they are.
Our goal is to make the best rescue match, taking into consideration the dog's background and your family's needs. Every dog is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs, and more. We consider all these factors when making a furever-home match. We do our best to match the right dog with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet's permanent home.
We appreciate you wanting to bring a dog into your home. In order for us to find the right dog for you, we need you to submit an adoption application.
We will review your application upon receipt, assigning volunteers to contact your vet (as applicable) and personal reference. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.
Once your application review is complete, a Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc volunteer will contact you to schedule a virtual home visit interview to view where the dog would live and discuss everything about adopting. During the home visit, we look for potential hazards for the dog that the adopter may not have considered and get to know you better so that we can select the right match for you. All household members (humans and pets) must be present during the home visit.
