Rosie is a two year old red Boston. She is an energetic and affectionate pup who loves to run around the backyard and flop on her back for belly rubs. She is working on training basics and is easily motivated using treats and chin scratches. Rosie is timid around men to start, but warms up to them once she feels comfortable. She is great with children, but a home with older kids would be preferred.
Rosie gets along well with other dogs and loves to run and play. She is not food aggressive but does prefer to eat out of her own bowl. Rosie will position herself for the best spot on the couch and loves to follow her person around the house.
Rosie is house trained and will go out even in the rain. Potty training is a new accomplishment for her, so continued reinforcement will ensure long term success. She’s good in the crate, occasionally walks in and out for alone time, and will definitely let you know when she’s ready to get out. She is great on a leash and loves to roll in the grass during a walk. A fenced in backyard is preferred so that she can run full speed to get her zoomies out.
Rosie is pending a spay appointment, so no more babies for this mama dog! She is in good health and does not mind having her ears cleaned or nails trimmed.
Rosie is a sweet dog who is ready for a home that will give her all the love and affection she needs. She is eager to please and will make you laugh with her sassy antics.
