Meet Morti!
3-year-old Boston Terrier • 29 lbs • Neutered • Vaccinated
Morti is a handsome, playful Boston Terrier who was found as a stray about two weeks ago. We don’t know much about his life before rescue, but he has quickly shown his foster family that he is one sweet, fun-loving, affectionate little guy!
Morti is full of personality and classic Boston Terrier charm. He loves attention, enjoys playing, and is always curious about what his humans are doing. He can happily entertain himself with a bone or toy, but he’d much rather be wherever the action is!

Morti seems to have a special fondness for his foster dad and may be particularly partial to men.
Still Working on His Boston Manners!
Morti is still a young, energetic Boston with some things to learn. He’s very curious and will need supervision because he wants to investigate EVERYTHING!

He does pull some on leash, but he’s already improving after only a couple of weeks. He does much better with a harness and leash than with a collar.
Because Morti is curious and can be impulsive, his foster family does not recommend letting him off leash outside unless he’s in a securely fenced area.
What About Other Dogs?
Morti generally does well with other dogs, but he does have one habit that can be a little annoying to his canine friends: he likes to hump.
His foster family is working on this behavior, but some dogs aren’t interested in putting up with his advances. His foster currently uses a gate to separate him from the resident dogs when needed. He tries very hard to be friends with his foster’s older dog, but she’s made it clear that she’s not impressed with his enthusiasm!
A home with a tolerant dog—or potentially as an only dog—could be a great fit, depending on introductions.
Morti’s Forever Family
Morti needs a family who will appreciate his fun-loving Boston personality and continue helping him learn his manners. He’s playful and energetic, but he also knows how to settle down and relax.
At bedtime, Morti happily goes into his crate, snuggles under his blanket, and sleeps without whining. And based on his previous habits, he’s clearly familiar with the finer things in life—like sleeping on the couch!
Morti was neutered yesterday and is up to date on all vaccinations. No known medical issues have been identified at this time.
He’s only been in foster care for about two weeks, but he’s already making wonderful progress.
Morti is ready to trade his stray life for a forever family who will love him, guide him, and give him all the attention a Boston Terrier could possibly demand.
