I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Cash

We're happy to tell you that Cash has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Hello everyone! I’m Cash, and like any good pup - I also go by Johnny Cash, Mr. Beast, Mr. Bean, Jelly Bean, and Jelly Belly because my foster family is funny like that.

If you’re looking for a new best friend who is 40% doggo, 40% Roomba, and 20% hot mess (in a good way), then I am just who you are looking for! I’m a 3 year old escapee from a life of breeding, so I am looking for a home ready to continue my learning how to enjoy life as a free pup.  I recently got neutered, so I am working on perfecting my house manners.  I do still mark some, but it is improving every day.  My current home has doggy doors and I am a whiz at those and I also walk well on a leash if you don’t have a fenced yard.

The two hooman kiddos of the house are my best buddies (and I love the adults too), but if you have any really tiny hoomans, please know I don’t understand my power (I’m almost 30 pounds of solid love muffin) and I might knock them down accidentally. I would give them many kisses to apologize if that happened though!

I love my fur foster siblings as well - I play with both my smaller Boston friend and my larger Doodle friends well.  I don’t mind sharing toys for a fun game of tug of war, but we can also do some good fun wrestling if there aren’t toys right with us.  I haven’t been around those kitty cat things yet, but I seem to have a pretty chill personality around the various animals I have met in parking lots and my foster home.

As a pup who is new to the good life of freedom, I do need crating when left alone because I have tons of curiosity and have shown the capability of table surfing and other good natured mischievous Boston behaviors.  I will give some sad whines when you help me into the crate (I’m no dummy - I’m not going into captivity on my own!) but I calm down pretty quickly once you’re out the door and I am very happy to have you back when you return.  My whines of despair when crated are the only noises my foster family have heard me make so far, so I’m not a huge barker.

I’m going to be a great companion for my furever family.  Please be ready for patience as I am perfecting my house manners and working with me to make the crate a more welcome environment.  I do enjoy having other pups around, so bonus points if you already have friends for me.  Reach out to my friends at Black Tie Boston Rescue if you’re interested in finding out more about my amazing self!
