Coco is a wonderful 28-pound Boston Terrier who’s full of love and smarts. At around 8 years old (though she acts like a much younger pup!), Coco already knows her commands—sit, stay, down, and even shake. She’s quick to learn, too; although she used to use a doggie door, she now politely lets you know she needs to go out by standing by the door and giving a little whine.
Coco is dog selective, so she’ll thrive best as the only pet in her new home. She adores being outdoors, and a fenced yard where she can play and sunbathe would be a big plus. She’s working on her leash manners—she pulls a bit but is eager to improve.
This affectionate girl loves face-to-face snuggles, so older kids who don’t mind a little enthusiastic love would be a good match. She enjoys meeting new people with a slow introduction (and a chance to sniff, of course!). Toys, sunshine, and belly rubs are her absolute favorites.
Coco takes an inexpensive anxiety medication twice a day, and occasionally an anti-inflammatory to support her knee after an ACL repair, but neither slows her down from enjoying life.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will make you smile every day, Coco is ready to be your sunshine buddy!
