Say hello to Ernie! He is very sweet and can be a little shy towards men at first, but after a couple of minutes will be giving them kisses.
Ernie enjoys playing with his Foster siblings including a Frenchie twice his size, and four blind, senior dogs who he is very respectful to. He is also currently living with three cats who he completely ignores. Safe to say, he gets along with everybody!
Ernie is also indifferent to car rides. Even rides to the Vet clinic. He was also well-behaved during his Vet checkup. In fact, he pretty much fell asleep during the exam and didn’t even put up a fuss during his nail trim. That is unheard of for a Pug.
Ernie loves just about any type of food or treat which has been helpful during etiquette training. He is potty trained but now knows words like, no, sit is working on stay. He seems to love the chill life and tolerates being in a crate. He whines a fair amount at first, then settles in and sleeps just fine.
Ernie does seem to have a little separation anxiety but that has been improving with each day. He does prefer to be next to or on your lap when you are relaxing on the sofa. He is sure to be a wonderful addition to your home!
