Oreo is a big couch potato who spends the majority of his time loafing around. Despite his mellow tendencies, he loves walks and can barely contain his excitement when getting out of the door. Walks are the highlight of his day and they visibly bring him joy. He walks well on a leash and has happy interactions with other dogs along the way. In his foster home, he gets along well with other dogs and does not display any food aggression whatsoever. He is untested with cats.
Oreo is fully potty trained with no accidents in the house. While not a huge fan of the kennel, he tolerates it while his people are away and is vocal upon their return home. He is well behaved and eager to please.
Oreo is on a weight loss journey (aren't we all?) he is down to 39 lbs from 47 lbs with a few more to go. He may be large in stature, but he has an even bigger heart. This gentle giant has a new lease on life and is finally able to enjoy regular dog life. He would do well in a household that can commit to keeping him active, healthy, and happy. If you are looking for a beefy little meatloaf of love, he's your guy!
