Rocky is the sweetest, most tender-hearted boy you could hope to meet. He can be shy and nervous with new people, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into a loving, loyal companion who enjoys staying close and soaking up affection. He's an expert snuggler and happily curls up in bed at night - sleeping beside his person is truly his favorite place.
Right now, Rocky is afraid of crates and sleeps best in an open, cozy space where he feels secure. he forms especially strong bonds with women and is currently fearful of men, though he's making slow, steady progress with patience, treats, and calm encouragement. Loud noises can overwhelm him, so a quieter home would help him feel most at ease.
Rocky is very food-motivated and eager to please, which makes him a great candidate for positive-reinforcement training. He's learning to walk on a leash and would benefit from a fenced yard and a consistent routine. His house training is actively improving - he's getting better at peeing outside and is beginning to learn how to ask to go out. He still needs guidance and structure, and he feels safest when a familiar person helps him outside.
