Adoption Fees

Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc is a non-profit organization staffed completely by unpaid volunteers. Adoption fees and donations allow us to cover all medical expenses (i.e., wellness exams, heartworm tests, vaccinations, and preventatives) for the dogs in our care. In some cases, a dog is in need of very expensive surgery. Without adoption fees and donations, we would be unable to help.
