So, they tell me my name is Dexter. Sometimes they call me Dex,or Hey Buddy. Until recently I didn’t know I had a name. I am really happy to be called anything!
I was in pretty rough shape not long ago, but I am getting healthier every day. I have forgiven humans for what happened to me. I am so happy now, and I love everyone. I didn’t even know how awesome it is to lay on a cozy couch or a warm blanket. Now that I know, it is all I really want to do. In my current situation I stay with four other friends. They have a lot more energy than me, but I don’t mind them. I even play with them now and them. Mostly I want to be next to you! Show me some love, and I will follow you anywhere. Don’t worry if you open the door and forget about me. I am not a runner! I am one hundred percent crate trained, and about ninety five percent house trained. (I just don’t know how to say so when it’s time to go potty).
I am looking for a new best friend that can focus on me for a while longer with some extra baths, skin care, and a little more medicine. I will repay you with a lifetime of love, appreciation, and whole-body wags.
I am currently in Nashville, NC , I am believed to be 5 years old, I weigh 19 lbs. (with a little to gain) and will be looking for a “foster to adopt” home to get me through my skin issues and my neuter surgery. I am so ready to find my family…I have waited so long for the chance to be cherished….and my friends tell me I absolutely deserve it!!!!
